Come on down or up to Lexington in March for some pickup and 2v2 action. We will split our courts down the middle to run four courts of insane 2v2 action.
UPDATE: Just so everyone knows, the main 2v2 event will be a hat tournament. Teams will be selected randomly and any obviously overpowered teams will be split up, a bit of polo socialism to ensure lively, balanced play. Depending on the time and number of people, there may be time to run a normal 2v2 tournament as well. Winners will be lavished with air brush spring break T-shirts.
Schedule is tentative but will probably be pickup on Saturday, tournament on Sunday. Come early if you want. As a bonus, this event will coincide with St. Patrick's day and a likely tweed ride in town, so there will be lots of after polo shenanigans.

I'm goin up to Chi Town next weekend and lookin for something to do after training seminars are over. I was gonna call Lucky but don't heve his #. Lucky if your there shoot me an email or something.
I'm looking for ABS plastic to make a mallet but I can't find it anywhere. Do any of you know where I can get it or what are you all making mallets out of?
ABS is not legally sold in Missouri. It is outlawed for use as a gas pipe. That being said, no one uses ABS it wears out too quickly and is quite brittle in colder weather.
Every one here uses HDPE pipe. As for finding it, I hear lucky sells it on his st. cago website, but most st. louis folks find it laying around.
I still have a stash of HDPE in my garage...And an obnoxious amount on the patio at HandleBar. I'll try to remember to bring some to polo next time I'm there.
Coming down your way March 17th-20 for the Southern Graphics Conference and the CoMO pull out. I'll prolly come down by train with a bike, any chance I can get a ride to Columbia?

Has anyone heard any more about the Mt. Pleasant park removal of the hockey court.

He's got the pipe I use for the St Cago Tournament heads. I gave him a few feet of it for his birthday.
I'm supposed to get more soon. I'll be selling lengths of it through Fixcraft, along with the heads.
