BTW: I reserved a spot for a STL team in the Louisville tournament on the weekend of May 6-8. Unfortunately, I forgot that my college roommate is getting married that same weekend, so I won't be able to go. But STL should send a team (or two) to Louisville for a weekend of fun.
If you wanna see at least two teams from StL, host an invite and invite them. Or allot cities a quota, and make 'em play within town for the right to play at regionals.
Looks like spots this time around went to people with auction sniping skills. Not your fault, Zach, but it's easier and probably more productive for me to kvetch about it here than on LOBP.
The Thunderdrome is a balls-out wheel to wheel race for geared road bikes, fixies, mountain bikes, powered scooters, pit bikes, minibikes go karts and mopeds on Detroit’s vintage Dorais Velodrome. We’re restoring the place by holding events and putting 50% of the profits into upkeep and giving the other 50% to Detroit Parks and Recreation. Neat, eh? We’re also throwing a first-of-its kind race at the Gilmore Car Museum near Kalamazoo, Michigan during their massive Vintage Motorcycle Show. Spectacle? You bet.
