Bike garage sailing trip

I just got a pair of old milk crates that I can strap on to my bike like saddle bags. Anyone interested in going garage sailing on our bikes, Saturday morning?

BTW, anyone know any good places to go?

how are you planning to attach the sail to your garage?

I don't think there's too many good sales in the city. Your best bet is probably the St. Vincents thrift store on Forest Park. That's where I found my official bike polo mallet. There is also a Salvation Army and a Goodwill within a block or two. St. Vincents is by far the best of the three.

If you happen to be looking for bikes, don't bother with any of these. When they do have bikes the prices are sky high.

Darn. I may have to go up to St. Chuck which means taking the car.

I can't make it this weekend, but maybe next time. Somewhat closer than St. Charles is the Webster / Kirkwood area. When I moved into my apartment, I got a ton of stuff from garage sales and estate sales (way better) from around there. You could probably make it there via bike + metro.

I don't have any advice about bike garage sailing but I did finally download pictures from my first foray into bike-polo- not as cool as a mallet cam, but I am still learning how to use the new camera.
