It looks like we're on for bike polo this Sunday (2/3) at Mt. Pleasant park... If you have a shovel, bring it, since we may need to clear the rink of all the snow and ice.
i think we need to think about the fact that the court will still be wet and therefor extremely slippery. Even if we shovel it we'll never get it dry. I think we should shovel off the tennis courts at reservoir park. With the surface of the tennis court we should still be able to ride it when wet.
That's my vote, what do you guys think? For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to ride on the blue court while its wet, let me assure you it sucks big.
BTW - the Lexington folks are awesome. Seth and I got in a few good games on their grass field yesterday. I look forward to playing with/against those guys in some tournaments this summer.

shit - i'm posted that from jens computer. It was actually trent.
but still i love technology
I haven't played there, but am wiling to give it a go - I agree about the blue court sucking when wet.
The other option is to play as if we were the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Under the Bridge), but I don't know where that is either.
I'll leave that decision to someone who knows the two spots better...
the bridge gets pretty muddy around the edges.
We've never played at the tennis courts before but it looks promising. There are even lights for night games. We'll still need shovels though.
ok the decision has been made: we'll play under the bridge. It might rain, so that's the best option. Bring a shovel if yous gots one.
2:00pm today
I'll be there. I wonder how many shovels I can get on my bike.
