What Just Happened. (Walls)

Did You Come For The Polo?
Did You Come From Miles Around?
Well, You're Here Now

To Move Faster Than Time
And Remove Every Doubt
That You Are What This Is About
When This Was Then (Re-Experience)

When I Came By Myself
I Came For You (You!)

I Came For You
Oh
You Were There Now (Re-Experience)

Expectations Derailed
So Take The Frame Off The Nail
And See Where The Color Runs Pale?
Its Outline Shows

That All The Essence Remains
It Has Left Many Stains
On Our Walls, On Our Souls
On Our Brains
When THEN Was NOW

And When I Came By Myself...

I Came For You.

Go to this website and get psyched.
(It's kind of like partying.)

Don't be afraid to go all the way into psychedom. Its quite rewarding.

Some thanks you notes from my email (cos the forum is down this week):

"...I haven't had that much fun in a long time!" - Tommy from Bmore

"The entire Lexington crew had a blast..." Brian from Lex

"Awesome, amazing weekend." Brad from PGH.

I didn't catch all of you before I left, so I wanted to thank you for the excellent time! Besides the few morons stacking mallets, the lock-in went off without a hitch! The rink is the best place I've ever played polo! Next year please!

Tim,
Can you send me ALL the photos you took this weekend...Or a link to all the photos? I want to relive the Lock-In via photos.

Thanks!

I still can not believe that Ross took the ramp. It was just that kind of party.

I am sure that everyone who attended would enjoy seeing any and all photos that were taken at the event. Even if you stayed up as much as possible (I got about an hour of shut-eye) it would be impossible to take it all in.

Estimating: you all played between 100 and 110 games of pick-up polo, (5 games per hour minus some time for extra activities and when there was more than two minutes between games at times)

If I haven't said it to you already, thank you for your appreciation of me there, I only witnessed about half of the greenbacks that appeared in my toolbox and I wish to send thanks for the other half.

Frankly with the possible exception of the MS 150 rides I've worked, this group of riders was the most polite, considerate and patient that I have experienced. Racers are the worst. For an accurate example of what typically occurs at most races, watch this: http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/5721683

There is one titled, “Bike Polo” (#5697155) but it stinks. That one is just “Hipsters discussing Cyclocross” (#5684963) with the words ‘bike polo’ used to replace ‘cyclocross’. One of you should make one, it would be bitchin’ to hear what stupid things are said rinkside.

Super big thanks to everyone who helped out on this event. Sorry I didn't get to say thanks to everyone in person; by 9.30 I was shocked I could make full sentences.

Easily the most fun weekend I've had in recent memory. My smiling muscles hurt.

See you all soon!

Imma go back to the Skatium after work tomorrow, to see if there's any lost and found stuff. I've heard about a pot, a crock-pot, a pair of pants, and a jacket so far. Anyone else?

Lucky, also look for Lee's voice. He lost it at the Skatium, Mt Pleasant, or somewhere in-between. It's not in the Party Van.

Kick ramp + polo = Kick-olo.

Fix your blog description.

LiL' Moto Cross said...

Or technically I guess it's a kicker ramp. That makes me think, we need a kick ramp in there to. (kick turns)

Anchovy, if you find Patrick a bike be sure it's suitable for Kick-olo!

Lee and co., The Party Van to the donut house has topped my "bests!" list. thank you! jasmine and i drove the first 12 hours of our journey home to ATX and laughed and cried and reminisced about the lock-in the entire time. count our two votes for the 46 hr lock-in in 2011!
