Bike Polo Spring Break / SESPI Feb 22 - 28
Last year Lucky, Dumptruck and myself put together a team last year for BPSP '09. It was a ton of fun. There was decent competition and got to play a ton of games. It was about a 12 hr drive to Florida.
Anyone interested in putting a team together this year for the tournament the weekend of Feb 27 and 28?

What Just Happened. (Walls)
Did You Come For The Polo?
Did You Come From Miles Around?
Well, You're Here Now
To Move Faster Than Time
And Remove Every Doubt
That You Are What This Is About
When This Was Then (Re-Experience)
When I Came By Myself
I Came For You (You!)
I Came For You
Oh
You Were There Now (Re-Experience)
Expectations Derailed
So Take The Frame Off The Nail
And See Where The Color Runs Pale?
Its Outline Shows
That All The Essence Remains
It Has Left Many Stains
On Our Walls, On Our Souls
On Our Brains
When THEN Was NOW
And When I Came By Myself...
I Came For You.

Serious Business...
Sorry for the interruption. As the interweb representative of STL Bike Polo, I am responsible for casting our club's vote(s) for Midwest representatives. I could rule our club with an iron fist and cast votes as I see fit, but I like our club and its members, and I'm not in the mood to be a dictator today. So here's what I need from all of you (or anyone with an opinion they're willing to share): If you click on this link you can read posts from people bidding to be our Midwest representatives. Pick your top three and share them with me. Voting ends on the 15th so share your thoughts sooner rather than later. Share your thoughts via text, in the comments sections, or in an email.
Side note: Accessing that link may require you to register on .ca or join the Midwest region or complete some other silly task to view the super-secret information. So keep that in mind.
Thanks for your help.

Last planning before the party.
OK, kids. It's dotting "i"'s and crossing "t"'s time. Let's meet at Felix's in Dogtown at 11am for brunch again to disburse funds and make our final plans before we host the polo party of the decade. To be followed by garage polo at 1.
By the way: Scoreboard and DJ system with 80's sound effects on the mixer = awesome.

Bustin' Balls Left and Right
Four balls met their demise today. Our wicked-hard shots and this extended cold snap are both going to leave us with a mountain of broken balls. So if you're driving past The Sports Authority or a Total Hockey store between now and Wednesday, pick up a yellow hockey ball so we can keep playing Polo in subfreezing temps. I'll be buying one too.
